Synopsis
“Teri Meri Kahaniyaan” is a feature film showcasing three different short films across various genres, with various casts and directors. The film marks a first in Pakistani cinema by opting for an anthology comprising multiple stories rather than following a single plot. The short film “Jin Mahal”, featuring the married duo Hira Mani and Mani together on-screen for the first time, is a horror-comedy following a truly peculiar family, directed by Nabeel Qureshi, joined by Fizza Ali Meerza on the story, and written by Basit Naqvi and Ali Abbas Naqvi. Mehwish Hayat and Wahaj Ali appear on-screen as a couple for the first time, joined by Zahid Ahmed and Amna Ilyas in the romantic, desi-vintage short film “Aik Sau Taeswaan” (123rd) written by Khalil-ur-Rahman Qamar under the direction of Nadeem Baig. The third short film, named “Pasoori” is a slice of life-comedy following Sheheryar Munawar and Ramsha Khan in their first work together, as they scheme to navigate the price of passion and ambition while trying to prioritize family alongside it. “Pasoori” marks the directorial silver screen debut of the iconic Pakistani actress, producer, and director Marina Khan, joined by Nadeem Baig as the executive producer in the story written by Vasay Chaudry.
